A Sunday Update......

Today in England it's a grey dreary day but I won't complain as yesterday was glorious and very busy so today is a perfect day to catch up on chores inside.
I'd like to present to you the latest little Cupboard Bear called Clara.
This sweet little girl is one of a kind. Just 8 inches of sweetness.

Clara is created using German mohair with ultra suede paw pads, she is five way disc jointed and partly filled with glass beads to make her feel nice and weighty.
I have dressed Clara in a cotton dress dotted with pink flowers and trimmed with vintage lace. Her hat matches her dress, it is lined and is adorned at the brim with satin and silk bows, secured with a pink flora button.
To keep this sweet little girl snug she has a cream cardigan that I have knitted, it is secured at the neck with a crystal button.
Clara will arrive to you with a signed swing tag and a stitched in label on her back.
Clara has been adopted THANK YOU!

Barley's looking for a home.....

Sweet little Barley is the latest Bear from the Cupboard Bear Studio.

Approx. 9 inches high or 23 cm high.

This sweet little girl is created using German sunny honey coloured mohair for her fur while her paw pads are ultra suede, I have shaded Barley's paws, face and feet to add character. Her claws on her paws and feet are stitched in black perle cotton. Her nose is stitched in the same black thread.

She is five way jointed with nut and bolt joints. Her tummy, paws and feet are part filled with polyfil and glass beads to give her a nice weighty feel. Her eyes are black glass so Barley is not suitable as a toy.

I have created Barley's outfit using cotton fabrics for her dress, the pale vintage blue fabric is dotted with deep pink roses, cream leaves and teeny tiny blossoms. Her dress is trimmed in vintage white English lace along the hem. The dress is secured with complimenting cream buttons and matching fabric straps.

Barley's hat is lined, the hat matches her dress. I have trimmed the hat's brim with a cream satin bow, a deep pink bow and several daisies dotted with pearl beads.

Barley's cream cardigan has been knitted by myself, she has a cream pearl button that secures it closed at the neck. Adorning her cardigan is another daisy with a centre pearl in blue.
Pop over to my Esty store for more details.

Barley has been adopted - Thank you!

Don't forget that The House Of Bears in Bath, England is holding their charity event in aid of MacMillan on Saturday 5th July 2014 at 10am - 5pm. Get there early, entrance is free. There will be wonderful bears at great prices all in aid of Macmillan. Here is a link to more details The House of Bears.

Sister Dora is the Cupboard Bear that I have donated to The House of Bear for this event. This busy little nurse will be one of the bears up for adoption at a very reasonable price so you'll need to be at the store early to catch her.
