Lucy in lace.......

This sweet little 8" bear is the latest bear looking for a home. Her name is Lucy, she is one of a kind.

Lucy's fur is mohair in a natural slightly sparse style to give her a vintage look. She is dressed in a lace dress which is made of vintage ivory lace, two creamy buttons secure her dress. Her shoulder straps are covered in vintage lace.

Lucy’s hat is made of ivory cotton and shell pink silk, it is trimmed around the brim with lace, the front of the brim has three ribbon roses that I have created, there are velvet leaves either side of the roses, at the back of the hat is more vintage lace and a lovely linen button.

I did offer a cardigan for Lucy, she chose a delicate hand knitted cardigan in pale peach.

Off Sailing.....

It's perfect weather for a day messing about in boats so Ellen & Ben are all ready for a sailing adventure.

These two sweet children, Ben & Ellen are dressed in their sailing outfits. Both are dressed in pale dusty blue with off white spotted overalls and dress, complete with a sailors collar and hat, both outfits trimmed with pale grey satin ribbons and bows, the hats will help to keep the sun from their eyes.

Ben & Ellen are one of a kind and approx. 9" tall. They are created from creamy German mohair with matching ultra suede paw pads, they are five way jointed and part filled with glass beads to give them a nice weighty feel.

They both have stitched in tags with my name on in their back, while around their necks they will arrive with a swing tag that has their name on.

For more details of how to adopt them please email me HERE.

Vintage Lace & Lilacs....

Just to tempt you a little.........

I love playing with fabrics and trims, this has led to me compiling a collections of lovely vintage fabrics that inspired me to create the latest two bears. The theme was Lilac & Lace - hopefully I succeeded.

The bear sat down is called Tilly while her bigger sister is Elsa. Tilly is 8" tall and Elsa just an inch taller at 9".

My collection of fabrics were all lilac or vintage ivory. The sweater were hand knitted while sat outside enjoying this glorious summer we are having here in England. Both sweaters are 2ply yarn, the lilac sweater is pure merino wool and soooooooooo soft!

I have in my collection of fabrics some vintage pieces of very fine cotton, Elsa's dress is made from this fine embroidered cotton while Tilly's dress is also vintage cotton, both trimmed with vintage lace and vintage buttons.

Elsa

I love creating the bear's hats, these two girls have silk hats, both lined and both adorned with more vintage lace and a diamanté pin.

Both bears are five way jointed, both have sewn in tags at the back of their necks and they will arrive with a signed swing tag around their necks.

Tilly

Tilly has been adopted - Thank you.

Anya....

I'd like to present to you this sweet little blond bear called Anya.

One of a kind, approx. 9 inches tall.

Such a sweet questioning little
face peeping out from under her summer hat.

Anya is created using five way nut & bolt disc joints, she has German blond mohair and complimenting ultra suede paw pads. Her tummy, paws and feet are part pellet filled to make her nice and weighty.

Anya's outfit is a cotton dress trimmed in vintage lace which matches the shoulders of her dress, the dress is a vintage creamy colour, dotted with shabby flowers in deep pinks and plums. The dress is secured at the front with two mother of pearl buttons.

Anya's hat is lined and matches the dress. To complete Anya's out fit she has a lovely lilac hand knitted cardigan trimmed with lilac buttons and plum satin ribbon bows.

Anya will arrive with a swing tag around her neck and a stitched in label in her back.
