Gone Batty

Having a Batty Moment.

Batty is a viscose Batty Pumpkin Bat - you've heard of fruit bats - well, this is Batty the Pumpkin Bat.

He's 7 1/2 inches tall/hanging or 5 inches sitting - which he prefers to do. He doesn't like the rush of blood to his head when he hangs upside down so he is happy to sit.

Batty has black viscose fur, ultra suede paw pads and ears, along with silk wings to create this charming chap. He is five way disc jointed and partly filled with glass beads to give him extra weight.

Two green glass eyes helps this lovely bat to find the best pumpkins for supper in the dark.

Batty wears a green and natural checked bandana to keep the juicy pumpkin from dribbling down his fur.

Ok, I've gone batty!

Batty has found a home - thank you very much xxx

Lucy is partly filled with a mix of glass beads to give her a nice weighty feel.

Lucy wears an outfit which I have stitched for her. Her dress is created from a vintage blue coloured cotton which is dotted with bunches of shabby old English flowers. The dress is trimmed at the hem with deep lace.

Lucy's lined hat matches her dress, while the lining and inner brim matches Lucy's bloomers which are also dusty blue with creamy polka dots.
